TechnoHouse is the world's longest-running electronic music community. We started in 1996 as the first 24/7 techno stream on the internet and grew into a global home for techno DJs, house producers, drum & bass heads, ambient explorers and everyone in between. If you've ever stayed up too late at a warehouse, hunted down a 12-inch you only heard once, or argued about what makes "real" techno — you'll fit in here.

The community is organised into genre hubs — pick the sound you live for and you'll find a feed of posts, releases, gig flyers and conversation from people who actually care. Join the techno community, the deep house community, the drum & bass community, house, trance, ambient, industrial, minimal, experimental or hardcore. There's space for whatever you're into.

Beyond the community feeds, members maintain the techno clubs directory, the record labels database, the events listings and the artists directory. Everything is community-built. No editorial gatekeeping, no pay-for-placement.

Why join the TechnoHouse community?

// IT'S REAL

Not a Discord bot farm or a corporate forum. Members are real DJs, producers, label heads, promoters and lifelong electronic music fans, often from the late-90s wave that started here.

// IT'S USEFUL

Find venues, labels, gigs and other heads who share your taste. Get reviews of clubs from people who actually went last weekend, not bots.

// IT'S FREE

No premium tier, no paywall, no algorithm pushing influencer slop. Just a community that's been alive for nearly 30 years.

About the TechnoHouse Electronic Music Community

Q1.What makes TechnoHouse different from other electronic music communities?
Three things: (1) we've been online since 1996, so the institutional memory runs deep; (2) we're entirely community-built — no editorial team picks which clubs or labels get featured; (3) every genre has its own dedicated hub, so the techno conversation isn't drowned out by EDM festival chatter.
Q2.Is the techno community here just about techno, or all electronic music?
Both. The site is rooted in techno (and the early electronic music scene) but the community spans house, deep house, drum & bass, trance, ambient, industrial, minimal, experimental and hardcore. Anyone serious about electronic music belongs.
Q3.Do I need to be a DJ or producer to join?
No. Plenty of members are listeners, ravers, label-watchers, promoters or just people who really love the music. There's no application process — sign up, pick the communities you care about, and start posting.
Q4.How do I find the deep house community specifically?
Direct link: the deep house community page. You can join from there with one click. Same goes for the tech house community, drum & bass community and every other genre.
Q5.Can I share my own tracks and releases?
Absolutely. Add releases to your profile, link your Bandcamp/SoundCloud, and post in the relevant genre community. The community is built for sharing music — that's the whole point.
Q6.Is there a mobile app?
TechnoHouse is a Progressive Web App — open it in any modern browser and tap "Add to home screen" to install it like a native app. Works on iOS and Android with offline support for cached pages.
